Investor assets are managed in a self-custodial fashion. This means that when you invest into a portfolio, the asset manager can only deploy the capital, they may not withdraw them.
You can invest into a portfolio by selecting "Invest" in the Portfolio details page.
This will open up a window where you can select the token and the number of tokens you wish to invest.
